Hole 16, TPC Scottsdale Guide!

This week Golden Shot will be taking place on the ICONIC Hole 16, TPC Scottsdale. The only enclosed hole in THE PGA TOUR. The cascading bandstand and the cheering fans will put you right in the middle of the action as you tee off to win the UNIQUE TPC Scottsdale Ball!

So here are our top tips to get you winning!

Medium

A fairly accessible shot with a wide landing area which is perfect for beginners. Our tip here would be to use the Long Iron and plan for the second bounce to be just at the edge of the largest ring, which will hopefully cause your ball to roll closer to the hole. In case of any tail or headwind, adjust the strength of the shot accordingly.

Beware of the slope leading up to the green and steer clear of those bunkers if there's any sidewinds.

Hard

This is a more technical shot and will challenge even the most talented golfers. Stronger winds and a smaller target will be your enemy here. Use the Long Iron again and aim your second bounce to be just before the largest ring.

Take note of any winds and adjust the strength of your shot to accommodate for those or else you'll overshoot or end up in the bunkers.
