How to Shoot Bolt-Action and Self-Loading Rifles in Battlefield V

Looking for a great mid- to long-range weapon? You can’t do better than these rifles. The main difference between them is that bolt-action rifles are single-shot whereas the self-loading rifles are semi-automatic. You can fire a lot more rounds with self-loading rifles, but the trade-off is that you’ll also do less damage.
Lining up your shot at long distances can be tricky, at first, as you’ll need to lead your target and compensate for bullet drop. This is due to the game’s projectile physics system that emulates how bullets travel in real life. Anticipating where a far away target will be rather than where they currently are when you fire takes some practice. Distant targets also require you to aim a bit higher than you might think to deal with bullet drop (the pull of gravity on the bullet).
Recoil is less of an issue with these types of weapons, but “scope sway” can affect your accuracy. Having trouble lining up a target in your sights? Use the hold breath button to steady your scope for a short time.
Be aware that using your sights will create a scope glint that enemies can see and use to target you. Using a lower magnification scope can help you acquire targets faster and (for 2x sights or less) completely remove scope glint.
Finally, remember that in Battlefield V you can use Specializations to change your weapon’s characteristics so that it better suits your playstyle.
