EA SPORTS FIFA Disciplinary Update

Following rulings made by the FIFA 19 Global Series Disciplinary Committee we are announcing suspensions for the following players from all sanctioned EA SPORTS FIFA 19 Global Series events (qualification, live events, online events, or EA sanctioned events) for violations of the FIFA 19 Global Series Official Rules and FIFA 19 Global Series Code of Conduct:
- BLacKxLeGenD
- FaZe Tass
- Zaidy
BLacKxLeGenD
BLacKxLeGenD has been suspended from all sanctioned FIFA 19 Global Series events until November 16th, 2018 for Code of Conduct violations. The suspension includes eligibility to compete in the November 3rd-4th, 2018 Licensed Qualifier Event December online qualifier and the November 10th-11th, 2018 FUT Champions Cup - December qualifier. Due to his actions, he is also disqualified from the FUT Champions Cup- November qualification.
This player is being suspended for content of messages sent in and around the FUT Champions Cup November qualifier. The content of these messages included hate speech and the amount and duration of messages constitute harassment. Specifically, the FIFA 19 Global Series Code of Conduct violation for which the player is being suspended is:
- Harassing, threatening, bullying, repeatedly sending unwanted messages or making personal attacks or statements about race, sexual orientation, religion, heritage, etc. Hate speech is not tolerated.
FaZe Tass
FaZe Tass has been suspended from all sanctioned FIFA 19 Global Series events until November 12th, 2018 for Code of Conduct Violations. The suspension includes eligibility to compete in the November 3rd-4th, 2018 LQE December qualifier and the November 10th-11th, 2018 FUT Champions Cup - December qualifier.
This player is being suspended for content of a video posted on October 28th, 2018 which contained hate speech. The video has since been edited. Specifically, the FIFA 19 Global Series Code of Conduct violations for which the player is being suspended are:
- “… making personal attacks or statements about race, sexual orientation, religion, heritage, etc. Hate speech is not tolerated.”
- “Publish, post, upload or distribute any content, such as a topic, name, screen name, avatar, persona, or other material or information, that EA (acting reasonably and objectively) determines is inappropriate, abusive, hateful, harassing, profane, defamatory, threatening, hateful, obscene, sexually explicit, infringing, privacy-invasive, vulgar, offensive, indecent or unlawful.”
Zaidy
Zaidy has been suspended from all sanctioned FIFA 19 Global Series events until November 16th, 2018 for Code of Conduct Violations. The suspension includes eligibility to compete in the November 3rd-4th, 2018 LQE December qualifier and the November 10th-11th, 2018 FUT Champions Cup - December qualifier.
This player is being suspended for content of messages sent in a group chat to other players. The content of these messages included hate speech. Specifically, the FIFA 19 Global Series Code of Conduct violation for which the player is being suspended is:
- “… making personal attacks or statements about race, sexual orientation, religion, heritage, etc. Hate speech is not tolerated.”
