EA Competitive Gaming - Importance of Healthy Competition
The Electronic Arts Competitive Gaming Entertainment (CGE) division is committed to fostering an equal, inclusive, and diverse community, and we encourage everyone to please take a moment to review the many resources* available in support of positive play.
EA stands vehemently against hate speech. We will vigilantly protect and promote a positive and inclusive competitive community. We will ban competitors for perpetuating racist, xenophobic, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, or any other EA Code of Conduct or CGE franchise** breaking behavior.
It is important to share that, in select instances, it is possible for a banned competitor to be reinstated if they show a sustained commitment to being a community ally. EA believes in the potential for a second chance when appropriate. For those applicable, competitors can coordinate with the EA CGE player management team to learn if or how they may become eligible once again.
We look forward to the CGE 2021-22 competition and appreciate everyone helping us champion a positive and inclusive community.
