NFC South Club Championship & Derwin James vs. The World
Derwin James takes on Jalen Ramsey and AFC North Champs were crowned.
Madden Championship Series
The battle for AFC North supremacy is never without it’s drama in the NFL. It only makes sense that this would carry over into the Madden 21 Club Championship.
Let’s get on with it. The first matchup of the night was a major one.
Cleveland Browns
Ape vs. XSET Joke
If you follow the Madden Championship Series, then you know who Joke is. Love him or hate him, Joke is one of, if not THE, best competitive Madden players in the world and the defending Madden 20 Bowl Champion. He’s also … not one to shy away from words. The quote of the night came in the first match from Joke himself, “There’s defense, then there’s Joke. There’s a difference.”
While Ape was looking to continue the upset trend from last week’s stream, it was Joke that came out on top. Joke and Pavan are now the only competitors in MCS history to win a Club Title four consecutive times.
Cincinnati Bengals
KMaC vs. Crush
Not a recap really, but something to note. Crush was disqualified from this one due to a rules violation. With that, KMaC was awarded the Bengals Club Title and will advance.
Pittsburgh Steelers
JoelCP vs. Jonbeast
JoelCP is well known throughout the Madden community. Not only is he highly skilled, he’s one of the best trash talkers in MCS.
But there wasn’t a lot of room to talk in this one. It was extremely close. Jonbeast hit some great plays when he needed to, but poor mistakes are what became the deciding factor. In what most of the Madden world would consider an upset, Jonbeast fought hard and earned himself his first Club Title, with the Steelers.
Baltimore Ravens
DaKingg vs. Jsthebest
Well, it certainly wasn’t pretty.
This was by all accounts a slugfest of a Madden match. It wasn’t the most explosive by any means, but it involved two competitive beasts fighting for a Club Title and a chance at some big money in January.
Jsthebest is now your two-time Ravens Club Champ!
Derwin James vs. The World
After months of watching Derwin James, it’s become clear that he enjoys playing Madden 21 and defeating his friends the most. His competitive nature really comes out.
It was no surprise then when college teammate and cross-town rival Jalen Ramsey picked up the sticks that we got to see a different side of Derwin.
I mean, he still won. But it was entertaining, and that’s all we really want right?
